Following severe storms and flooding across Wisconsin on August 9, 2025, WMTV speaks with local and state experts, Paul Davis of South Central Wisconsin, offering practical guidance to help homeowners protect their homes.
Alex Wuest (VP of Finance & Estimating, Paul Davis Restoration) notes that many homeowners are caught off guard, even when their homes don’t appear at risk, floodwater still found its way into basements. His team has received over 100 flood damage repair calls, and additional crews have traveled from as far as Florida to assist.
